Peter Skovgaard is one of the most reknown abstract painters in
Denmark and he talks with Jörg about his process, that is
inspiringly spontaneus, and resulted in an incredibly huge body of
work over the many years Peter is working as an artist. Born in
1960 he has a deep understanding of what it means to live your life
as a painter, and also to live off it. There is a lot of experience
in his words and his stories, and it is really enlightning what
Peter has to say to a younger generation of artists. Peter
Skovgaard has shown his work internationally and had acclaimed
exhibitions not only in his home country. He also painted for
massive institutional but also commercial projects in the past, and
for example had the priviledge of meeting the queen of denmark on
one of these occasions.
