Das virtuelle Seminar KOALAH: "Lernen in Computernetzen"

This report describes the virtual seminar "Learning in computer
networks", which was developed at the Institute of Empirical
Pedagogy and Educational Psychology of the University of Munich and
is offered within the frame of the Virtual University of Bavaria.
The seminar is dedicated especially to students of educational
science, psychology and computer science. It gives an overview over
recent research on communication and learning in virtual
environments. The participants evaluate several virtual learning
environments using criteria based on the research literature. The
seminar conception is problem-based and integrates self-regulated
and cooperative learning. After a detailed presentation of the
seminar structure and of its technical implementation, several
results of its evaluation are described and further research
questions formulated.
