For 20 years amateur humourist, Irish-born sage, semi-hermetic
raconteur, fantasist, socially awkward cat obsessive, energy drinks
misuser and husband Neal O’Carroll has practiced the art of
starting comedic ramblings with no idea how the first sentence will
end, never mind what he’ll say or write. 800 episodes in, he claims
he’s getting the hang of it. Irish comedy podcasts Into Your Head’s
roots include O’Carroll’s long enjoyment of classic BBC Radio panel
game Just a Minute. From an early age (27) Neal was starting
sentences with “Two Cats walk into a Bar” more frequently than his
peers, initially in early 2000s humour blog Neal’s Belch, which
spawned unscripted yet dialogue-laden Matchstick Cats comics. By
2006, O’Carroll had noticed saying stuff is easier than writing,
