In the United States, if you support universal healthcare, raising taxes on the ultra-wealthy, tuition-free public college, housing-for-all, ending cash bail, legalizing cannabis, or any number of common sense policies that prioritize the needs of the poor over the wants of the billionaires, then you are a "radical".
