Am 30. März 1949 erschien die erste Single von RCA. Als Antwort
auf die erfolgreichen Vinyl-Longplayer von Columbia. Aber erst
mit den Rock-And-Roll-Singles ab 1955 setzte sich das Format
durch und hat seitdem mehrere musikalische Genres geprägt: Soul,
Punk, Disco, Indie. Heute dient sie als Streaming-Single dazu,
neue Bands durchzusetzen. Wir werfen einen Blick auf die
Geschichte der Single, spielen die wichtigsten und die besten
