sides of dating, this includes topics like emotional abuse and
dates with real scary people.

This is our first English episode, as we have an English-speaking
guest: Lulu Johnson. Lulu is originally from Ireland, but moved
to Berlin - and all its dating craziness - 8 years ago. It's safe
to say, that she's become quite an expert on dating (in Berlin)
since then. Lulu has captured her experiences, reflections and
learnings in her book that was published last October: "Dating in
Berlin - Tales of Modern Love and Relationships"

In this episode, we ask Lulu about how she perceived the Berlin
dating scene as a foreigner and how it differs from her previous
experiences in Ireland. She also shares with us how she usually
meets her dates and gives us a few stats on just how many Berlin
dates she actually had. Jointly, we bond over our different
creative coping mechanism and Lulu tells us about her inspiration
for the book, the writing process and how the fabulous chapter
titles and illustrations came about. You will need to read the
book for all of Lulu's stories, but we already got a teaser for
the categories: funny, lowlight and highlight. Aside from all the
fun and laughter, we also reflect on some of the lessons learned
from our dating lives, which haven't exactly been fairytales.
