In the fourth episode of our podcast Prof. Dr. Christine Tamásy and
Dr. Miriam Richter-Tokar present the Cluster Regional Development
and Rural Areas and its members. The research ideas of the cluster
are presented in their diversity and the focus on rural areas,
which has been left out of studies on regional development for too
long, is explained. Above all, perception and discourses are to be
considered when investigating the chances of rural areas in
