Wolfgang Schenk, Belden Inc. - Network Management as a Service

In its series “Doers in Automation”, the A&D Kompendium is
presenting Wolfgang Schenk. He studied communications engineering
at the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen. In 1986, he
joined Hirschmann Automation and Control, the specialist for
automation and networking technology and today a brand of Belden.
After holding several positions in service, sales and marketing, he
became Vice President and Managing Director Industrial Networking
and is now responsible for Business Development in Belden’s
Industrial Automation Division. He was actively involved in the
foundation of the Industrial Automation Open Network Alliance
(IAONA) in 1999 and is a member of the Cybersecurity Working Group
and the Leadership Circle Industrie 4.0 of ZVEI. This “thought
leader” states: “We provide our customers with a convenient
all-in-one package for automation network management.”
