048: "Iboga, discovering truth and the process of death and rebirth" with Sean Hamman

Sean Hamman is the founder of Still Nothingness,
a spiritual practice that came into being in 2002 and for the
past 19 years has been taught around the globe. As well as
sharing emptiness, Sean and his team facilitate
initiations into embodying Silence through the use of
Iboga and Kambo.


For them, a plant that ensures a grounded, silent mind whilst
being present though our pain is "a touch of grace."


And in this powerful episode we talk about all things Iboga. So
if you’ve ever wondered what Iboga is and what it feels like to
work with `the wood’ and be initiated into death, this episode is

Before meeting Iboga for the first time, Sean had several years
of experience working with ayahuasca in the Santo Daime tradition
and he shares the differences between the work with ayahuasca and
Iboga.


Iboga was something different to what had gone
before. Instead of being shown what’s out there he was realizing
the stillness and emptiness within himself as the ultimate truth
he‘d always sought.


For almost 20 years now he has been leading people into the work
with Iboga and death initiations. You will get a pretty good
glimpse of what it means to take the leap to get acquainted with
the `Bwiti’ - the spirit of Iboga.
