KLUB KRACH - Shawna Potter

Punk and Hardcore-Shows do not feel like a safe space to
everyone. "Harassment happens", as Shawna Potter says. That's why
she wrote "Making Spaces Safer". A guide to giving harassment the
boot wherever you work, play, and gather. In this podcast Shawna
is talking on her book and giving some easy tips to start making
your spaces safer. The introduction to this podcast is in German,
but the interview is in english. It was recorded in 2021.





Shawna Potter is known as the singer and front-person of the
feminist hardcore-punk-band War On Women from Baltimore, but
Shawna is also an activist apart from her work for War On Women.
She is an intersectional feminist and founder of the
Baltimore chapter of Hollaback!, rasing awareness about
street harassement.
