https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-8-0B2hEiQ Streamed live on Nov 11, 2016. Special guest: Dr. Lindley Winslow, a faculty member in Physics at MIT. "I am a real-life Ghostbuster. My research focuses on the ghostly neutrino. It only interacts weakly, but when enough of them get together they can blow apart stars. I am particularly interested in whether the neutrino is its own antiparticle. If this is the case then these ghostly particles can explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe and our very existence. In this talk, I will give an overview of the physics of the neutrino and my experiments. I also happened to be one of the science advisors for the recent Ghostbusters movie. I will explain the connection between my work and some of the real physics that was featured."
