Learn to spot the bright stars of Denebola in Leo, Spica in Virgo, Antares in Scorpius, and the stars of the Summer Triangle: Vega, Deneb, and Altair, as well as the constellation Hercules.
We'll also explore how Polaris marks our planet's rotation axis, and discuss the reasons for summertime - and why the reason is NOT that Earth is closer to the sun now!
Be sure to check out the companion website for skycharts. Music this month from Reklein ("Robb" available at http://www.reklein.org/) and Saul Stokes ("Bursts and Blooms" and "Spy Cinema" from Vast, available at http://www.saulstokes.com/store.html)
