The Stedelijk Museum is working on digitizing its archive. The
paper is about
the way that is done, the technical side, and the context.
From one archival document many different stories can be told,
and these
stories can take on many forms. A few historical examples are
given and the
exhibition series ReCollections is discussed. An overview of the
overall digitization
plan of the Stedelijk is given as the plans for the physical
space where
the learning zone of the museum will be shown.
